"THE word" by Andre G. Mendes aka 3rd* (2008)

"THE word" Lyrics

"THE word"

It's been a lonely time,
but inside…
It’s been quite a ride…
All the crossroads in the way,
left behind…
Quickly fade out…

I want to go there with you,
where the sun shines above.
I want to live it…

It’s been a lonely time,
But outside…
It’s been... (not) quite all right…
I kinda miss those yesterdays,
it’s hard to find…
Snapshots… to the mind…

I want to go there with you,
where the sun shines above.
I want to live it through and through.
Where there’s love. Where is the love?
I want to go there with you,
where both rivers become one.

There will be a day
when you least expect,
there will be a day
no matter you walk back.
There will be a day
when you least expect…

To bring…a smile…
that light up your face…

It's been a lonely time
But inside…
It’s been quite a ride…

The Grau
